SHIRE:  Buy into numbers Friday

 

• US arbs back in selling this afternoon. Has been the daily pattern
• Deal with AbbVie is dead and most likely any other deal ST however much Paulson begs!
• However still think they are a buy . Fundamentally one of the best stocks in space
• Cheapest multiple for the growth
• They are here due to supply and demand. The arb selling is slowing drying up
• With the cash kicker they will be cash positive next year
• If they do go after a target as mentioned in the Sunday Times it should be taken well
• They have a good reputation for pulling off good deals
• Afternoon US arb selling seems to be the best entry level
• Numbers on Friday and I think they will come out fighting and bulled up. Q 2 numbers where great
• The supply demand is the most important catalyst ST…BUY into Friday
