CLOSING: M&S/ABF

CLOSING MKS -6.5%

Steepest quarterly decline in non-food sales in 4 years. However increased margin outlook which was a worry for the street. Decent short interest.

Closing for a 6.5% loss. Ouch!

Over to ABF tomorrow. Most people seem to have massive faith in Primark to avoid any weather slowdown. We would stay short into numbers tomorrow. Then over to MKS on Wednesday.

Next called down 3-5%. Poor numbers but we knew about Q3. The Q4 cut is a surprise.Should weigh on MKS and ABF this morning.
